If you go back to the DR in the future, look into staying around la romana. They were great at arranging a doctor to come to the property who helped ease the pain for my flight the next morning. I ended up getting the flu the last day there and cracking a molar lol. The club wasn't that great and that was important to me at the time since I was 23.
The local men were very aggressive towards us. The hotel also seemed to allow locals to hang out on the property.
